“It’s time for your next adventure.” Robin Williams in Night of the Museum 

 

Some time last year I felt like it was time for a new adventure, but I could not put my finger on the exact plan. Life was full of a bit too much screen time and world uncertainty. Then a vision started to form of a long walk. Some friends had done parts of the Camino and that looked interesting. Then the TA popped up in a conversation. I had forgotten about this closer to home journey. 

From that moment on, things fell into place rather quickly. The next magical thing that happened was my 16 year old son said that he wanted to join me. 

 

How many times do you get these moments? 

 

As a father/son team we are starting out on this pilgrimage journey to see where it takes us. Looking at it as a coming of age adventure for my son. In a world of screens and Insta-life, “It was time to get into the ring” (Teddy Roosevelt) and get out and experience life.
